Days That Last Forever

Today marks the beginning of my most favorite time of year. Labor Day being the last "beach holiday" after today the beach is unpopulated. I can walk for miles along the ocean and not see a single person.
From now until Christmas (that's when the snow birds start to come down) I have the beach to myself.

Quite, still and pristine.
My own private seaside sanctuary where time stands still and the days last forever.

That first photo.... it's exquisite... they're all beautiful (of course! and always!) but the light on your hair in that first one, creating a halo... sigh... really underlines your words of serene solitude...
